Expert training from experienced professionals
On 3 August 2026, GIPO GISLER POWER AG in Seedorf welcomed six new apprentices to the company. The young people are beginning their vocational training in a variety of professions at the internationally active family-owned business, which has stood for Swiss engineering excellence, quality and innovation since 1973.
The start of an apprenticeship opens the door to a diverse working environment where modern technology, craftsmanship and personal development come together. GIPO carries out almost its entire value chain in Seedorf, from design and manufacturing through to final assembly. This allows apprentices to experience first-hand how ideas, engineering concepts and individual components are transformed into high-quality crushing and screening plants that are used in more than 60 countries worldwide.
The apprentices benefit from comprehensive professional training delivered by experienced specialists, as well as a range of attractive employment benefits. These include six weeks of annual holiday, performance bonuses of up to CHF 600 per semester, and the company’s contribution towards expenses, public transport passes, school materials and workwear. In addition, apprentices are given time during working hours to study for vocational school and enjoy an uncomplicated and flexible company culture.
“As a family-owned company based in the Canton of Uri, it is very important to us to offer young people from the region an apprenticeship with long-term prospects. We support our apprentices every step of the way, giving them the opportunity to take on responsibility and develop beyond their own expectations,” says Stanislava Walker, HR Business Partner and Apprenticeship Trainer at GIPO GISLER POWER AG.
