New GIPO P 111 GIGA for Mattli AG
GIPO GISLER POWER AG is renowned worldwide for its high-performance crushing and screening plants. It is therefore always a special pleasure for our company when we have the opportunity to build a machine for a customer from our own region. Recently, GIPO delivered a GIPO P 111 GIGA tracked mobile impact crusher to Mattli AG in Wassen. From planning and production through to commissioning, the entire project was completed in just 13 weeks.
The GIPO P 111 GIGA is a versatile all-rounder for processing concrete, construction and demolition waste, asphalt, river gravel and excavation material. It enables these materials to be transformed into high-quality end products that can be returned to the construction cycle for use in new roads, buildings, concrete structures and foundations. Thanks to its impressive performance and robust design, the machine is ideally suited to demanding applications on construction sites, in quarries and at recycling facilities.
For Mattli AG, this is already the second impact crushing plant supplied by GIPO in Seedorf. The previous machine, purchased in 2015, had accumulated more than 15,000 operating hours before being traded in and replaced by the new plant. The machine is now operating in Erstfeld, where it continues to contribute to the efficient processing and recycling of construction materials.
The project also had to meet specific requirements for operation within the Canton of Uri. The machine had to comply with all applicable transport regulations and environmental standards, particularly regarding emissions. At the same time, it was tailored to the customer’s operational needs, ensuring an efficient and reliable solution for daily use
Today, GIPO machines can be found on numerous construction sites, in quarries and at landfill facilities throughout the Canton of Uri. Another mobile plant delivered in 2024 is currently operating on the construction works at the northern portal in Göschenen, while additional GIPO machines are involved in the second Gotthard road tunnel project on both the northern and southern sides of the tunnel. This strong local presence highlights the trust placed in GIPO solutions throughout the region.
For our company, this close connection to the region and proximity to our customers remain a source of great pride. Although GIPO plants are exported and operated around the world, our roots in Uri and our long-standing relationships with local businesses continue to be an important part of our corporate philosophy.
