Top performance at the highest level
After 13 years Ghelma AG SKISAB has chosen the GIPO P 111 GIGA – the perfect successor to their old impact crusher. Their tracked impact crushing plant, the GIPOREC 131 C GIGA, has delivered outstanding performance over the years. Acquired in 2011, the crusher has performed over 10’000 operating hours and processed more than 850’000 tons of material. In spring 2024, the key question arose: should a significant amount be invested in an overhaul or in a brand-new machine? And how large would the new crusher need to be to meet the increasing demands of customers?
In close collaboration with GIPO, Ghelma AG SKISAB found the perfect answer: the GIPO P 111 GIGA. A truly Swiss product – one in which the customer was able to contribute their wishes and ideas throughout development. Customised, client-specific solutions are a hallmark of GIPO – tailor-made plants in which customer requirements can be fully implemented.
The plant impresses with its high throughput, maximum mobility, and efficiency in both recycling and natural stone processing. Thanks to the proven GIPO impact crusher, combined with a robust GIGA screening unit, this machine is perfectly suited for continuous, heavy-duty use. A true powerhouse that delivers reliably even under the toughest conditions.
The P 111 GIGA is the first of its kind. In January 2025, Ghelma got their first look at the 3D model, and from that point on, everything moved quickly. GIPO accelerated development and put every effort into making the new crusher operational as soon as possible.
GIPO sincerely thanks Ghelma for their trust and the successful collaboration – and looks forward to setting new standards in processing technology together.
