Croatian customer continues success story
With the latest investment in a new tracked plant of type GIPO P 131 GIGA, the success story of a long-standing Croatian customer is continuing. Particularly noteworthy: this is now the ninth GIPO plant for this quarry.

Demanding applications
With the new tracked impact crushing plant GIPO P 131 GIGA, the customer is adding another high-performance tracked crushing plant to its fleet of machinery, one that is specifically designed for demanding applications in quarrying operations. The plant impresses with its high throughput, flexible range of applications and robust design – characteristics that are of particular importance in harsh, continuous operation.
The GIPO P 131 GIGA was chosen very specifically because it is a plant that combines maximum reliability in production with modern technology. For our customer, this means not only optimising production processes, but also ensuring long-term security of investment.
GIPO d.o.o. Senj as regional partner
GIPO d.o.o., based in Senj, has a central role in this successful collaboration. The subsidiary of GIPO GISLER POWER AG acts as an important contact partner for customers in South-Eastern Europe. Works Manager Mile Krznaric co-ordinates the sale of machinery and spare parts. Krznaric also ensures that between five and eight screening machines and stockpile conveyors are always kept in stock, so that regional customers do not have to go all the way to Switzerland.
This customer proximity enables rapid response times and high machine availability. There are currently around 200 GIPO machines in operation in Croatia and around 50 plants in Serbia – a clear indication of the brand’s strong market position in south-eastern Europe.

Mile Krznaric also emphasises the very short delivery times for spare parts from Switzerland to Croatia. If a spare part is in stock, it leaves Switzerland on the day the order is placed and is usually available in Croatia within two to three working days. In particularly urgent cases, delivery is often even faster. This prompt supply of spare parts is a major advantage, particularly in quarrying operations, where machine downtime can cause high costs.
