Power, strength and determination

These values not only define sport, but also form the foundation of the philosophy of GIPO GISLER POWER AG. As a company with strong regional roots, we are actively committed to elite sport and support talented athletes from a wide range of disciplines. Through targeted partnerships and sponsorships, GIPO creates optimal conditions for training, competition and athletic development at the highest level.

We are delighted to once again support and accompany athletes from the Canton of Uri and across Switzerland in 2026. We wish all athletes continued success, outstanding performances and, above all, an injury-free season as they pursue their sporting ambitions.

Fabio Püntener (Cycling, MTB Cross-Country)

Mountain biker Fabio Püntener from Silenen proves that perseverance pays off. His career has not always been straightforward. Although he regularly achieved top-ten finishes in World Cup races during his time in the U23 category, he was not yet considered one of the leading podium contenders.

Several challenging years followed in the elite category, marked by injuries and other setbacks. At the beginning of 2025, things appeared to have reached a low point when Fabio unexpectedly lost his new team and broke his collarbone during a training camp. However, that very season proved to be his breakthrough. With two surprising World Cup podium finishes, sixth place in the overall World Cup standings and a consistently strong season, he climbed to number one in the UCI World Ranking.

Thanks to these outstanding results, Fabio now rides for the SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing Team. In the current 2026 season, he has continued to build on these achievements and firmly established himself among the world’s elite.
